Personal & Professional Resilience Event

Influence for Impact: Developing Personal and Professional Resilience CPD event this September 2016

Learn how to cope with challenging and dynamic environments, including the seismic changes which could affect you and your organisation following the UK’s decision to leave the UK.

In October 2015, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Local Public Services Group and Manchester Metropolitan University Business School launched the Influence for Impact report. This identified the top issues for communicators in local authorities, the NHS, police and fire services.

CIPR North West, in collaboration with CIPR LPS, is running in Manchester an Influence for Impact event on the topic of Developing Resilience, on Thursday 15 September 2016 starting at 6pm.

Personal resilience was one of the top five issues for public service communicators identified by this national research project led by the CIPR LPS group. In an environment where budgets have been slashed and expectations raised – resilience is essential. This is equally relevant to communicators working in consultancy, in-house or the third sector.

Speakers at the event will be Wendy Moran, Amanda Coleman and Simon Calderbank.
